Why are donors compensated?
We are so grateful that you are considering egg donation. We are aware that egg donation is a time commitment and can cause some mild discomfort. You will be required to take certain medication, attend various appointments, and will be required to undergo the retrieval procedure. Because of this, donors are compensated for their trouble, discomfort, and time by Intended Parents.

How much do egg donors receive?
We allow donors to set their own compensation request, however ASRM guidelines suggest that no donor should receive more than $10,000. Please be aware that this procedure is extremely costly for the Intended Parents and by setting your compensation request too high, some Intended Parents may not be able to afford to use you as their donor. The average first time donor is compensated anywhere from $5000 to $8000. Some experienced donors or exceptional candidates may receive higher compensation amounts.

When is compensation received?
First a donor must be selected, screened, and sign legal contracts. Once this is completed, they are given a date to begin injectible medications. Donors receive $1000 when they begin medication. The remaining compensation is sent to donors within 3 days of the completion of the egg donation retrieval pending the agency receiving a copy of all cycle related receipts.
